Dr. Isaac Seifarth

Dr. Isaac Seifarth graduated from the University of Windsor with a major in Biological Sciences. From then he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with both cum laude and clinic honours in 2022. Prior to graduating, he earned his functional and sports acupuncture certification. Dr. Isaac Seifarth models his practice style with patient centred care as his key priority with an interest both in symptomatic and wellness care. He has an inter-disciplinary approach with patients that considers lifestyle contributors to get a well-rounded understanding of each patient’s concern. He has experience in working with headache/migraine care, neck and back complaints, minor/major injury, as well as upper and lower extremity and nerve related pain. His treatment style includes acupuncture, adjustments, mobilizations, modalities (Class IV LASER, Pointer Plus, and more) and detailed exercise plans. Dr. Seifarth is an advocate for his patients’ lasting recovery and wellness by promoting manual care paired with both an active lifestyle and case tailored education.

Paula Carl

Paula graduated from Sir Sanford Fleming College in 2016. She has certifications in Prenatal massage, hot stone massage and Cupping. Having an heavy athletic background she works well on athletic injuries, chronic pain and reoccurring injury. She specializes in deep tissue massage and the musculature that comes with long standing injuries or medical conditions. She focuses not only on the return of function, but the return to life however her clients choose to live it. In her spare time Paula enjoys reading, hiking, spending time in nature and riding motorcycles.

Christopher Robinson

RMT, CCDT, CMRT, B.Sc., Registered Massage Therapist

Christopher began practice in 1997. He has particular interest in working with clients with chronic pain and movement restriction involving the muscular system and its surrounding fascia sheathing. He also has a specialized focus on chronic, lymphatic-based swelling, including lymphedema. Christopher’s goal is to provide effective, restorative treatment plans and empower patients to successfully lead a more active, pain-free life. He has completed a B. Sc. in Honours Biological Science with the University of Guelph. He attended the Toronto Lymphocare Center’s Integrated Lymphatic Drainage studies certifying him as a Complex Decongestive Therapist. Christopher has also obtained his certificate, through extensive training, as a Myofascial Release Therapist. Currently he is studying physiotherapist Luigi Stecco’s method of Fascial Manipulation Therapy (Level 2). When not at the office Christopher enjoys reading, writing, being active and – to the great dismay of his family – learning how to cook at his home in Ridgetown.

Dr. Jennie Cheung, ND graduated with the Dr. John Laplante Award from her class at Toronto's Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Drawing from over 20 years of community health and wellness experience combining pre-medical pharmacy studies at the University of Toronto with her naturopathic training and further Asian studies in traditional chinese medicine, acupuncture, ear acupressure, massage and cupping therapies, Dr. Cheung (ND) has practiced in collaborative care facilities such as Sports Medicine, Chiropractic, Rehabilitation, and Physiotherapy Centres. Presently as naturopathic director in private practice, she enjoys sharing her well-care skills and research-based insights with her local community.

Kimberly Shillington

Kimberly is a Registered Kinesiologist who graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours BA in Kinesiology & Physical Education (2000). Her goal is to help people move better and feel better. Kimberly is a Black Rank Certified TRX Coach, Master Trainer for TriggerPoint Canada and a Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist. She incorporates rolling out, TRX Suspension Trainer and Rip Trainer, resistance bands, body weight, pool therapy, and RockTape in her full body approach. Kimberly enjoys continuing her education through professional courses. Virginia Wigle

Yoga & Smart Core Instructor

Virginia Wigle grew up in Chatham and currently resides outside Merlin along the North Shore of Lake Erie. As a child Virginia studied dance. Throughout the years her passion for movement and fitness grew into a career as a fitness instructor. She was first exposed to yoga in 1997 while teaching Step & Spin classes. In 2006, Virginia received her certificate as a Teacher of Yoga from the Still Point Yoga Centre in Picton, Ontario. Virginia work's part-time as an analyst at a local computer company. However, Virginia's passion is yoga, which she currently teaches on a part-time basis at various Chatham-Kent studios, including the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance employee fitness facility known as the Core. She teaches primarily beginner and gentle classes as well as Yin Yoga. By attending workshops and retreats she continues to cultivate her love for yoga and appreciates its spiritual importance. It is her heart's desire to live the spirit of yoga in all aspects of her life.

Lisa Shaw-Brown

Lisa Shaw Brown has 10 years of instructional experience offering yoga classes to the Blenheim community. Her relaxed approach and soothing voice will enhance your progression toward wellness. It is her firm belief that gentle stretching, strengthening and relaxation practice can have profound effects on physical health and in still an element of peace and calmness into your life. She encourages her students to explore and enjoy this state of ease and vitality for themselves in the “Stretch and Relax” class. Lisa brings 10 years of prenatal & newborn expertise to the Wellness Studio; offering continued support to expectant and new parents as a professional birth support person (Doula). She has successfully completed teacher training in Pregnancy Yoga. Lisa carries an Hon B.A. in Psychology & Biology. She lives in Blenheim and balances teaching with a busy family; enjoying her husband & 3 children.

Sue Wammes

Sue Wammes has 8 years of YogaFit experience and recently became certified in Restorative Yoga, a new addition to the classes offered at McLauchlin’s Yoga Studio.

It is her belief that a yoga practice be both about the Yin and the Yang … creating balance in one’s life in relation to stress on the body and in the mind. YogaFit is a Yoga Alliance certified school across Canada that provides their teachers with experience to lead a fitness style of yoga. Students will practice traditional sun salutations and quicker flows that incorporate a “1 breath to 1 movement” practice while offering modifications to suit any level of student. A Restorative Yoga class balances out our faster paced lifestyles with using healing properties of the sympathetic nervous system to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation. The use of props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks (and more) will allow students to lay or sit in poses for minutes at a time during a 75 minute class. Sue is no stranger to the health/wellness world as she has a degree in Kinesiology with certifications in personal training, nutritional behaviour coaching and is the Learn to Run coach at the clinic. She most recently is an entrepreneur in creating her own online coaching business called Sue Wammes Wellness and lives with her family just outside of Blenheim.

Lisa Uher

Lisa Uher works in the field of Children’s Mental Health and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has a Bachelor of Social Work. She has worked in both Child Protection and Mental Health for the past 29 years. The practices of Mindfulness / Meditation and Yoga have become an integral part of her life and journey of personal growth. Lisa has created a strong daily practice incorporating mindful movement and meditation. She holds certificates from the University of Toronto in Mindfulness Based Chronic Pain/Stress Management as well Certificates in Foundations of Applied Mindfulness Meditation and Applied Specialization in Mindfulness Meditation. She holds advanced certification in Yoga with specialization in Trauma Informed Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga Specialist Certification having earned her RYT 500. Lisa is also a faculty member at Neuro Nova Center for Mindfulness Solutions in Toronto. Lisa’s yoga classes are are trauma informed & gentle in nature with an interweaving of creative sequencing, a spirit of self worth, playfulness and a dose of inspiration for daily life through mindfulness practices. Lisa believes in providing a safer and nurturing environment to all students whether through Mindfulness or yoga. Lisa holds a strong belief in helping others’ thrive in life by nurturing their mind, body through honouring and meeting people where they are at in their personal journey. As Lisa has realized the life changing benefits and personal growth awarded to her through mindfulness and meditation she has been honoured to share this in her daily work in Children’s Mental Health, and a variety of community programs including Hospice programs and prenatal with expectant parents.

Jason Higgins

Jason graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1999. Jason’s career has been focused primarily on treating orthopedic conditions in private practice clinics. Rachel joined the McLauchlin Wellness Clinic in 2011. It is her goal to provide her clientele with the medical garments and related products that fulfill their lifestyle needs at a competitive price with outstanding personal service. It is Rachel's philosophy to provide quality products with excellent personal care and knowledge, empowering her clientele to a live a confident, healthy lifestyle. New to Perfect Fit Medical Garments in 2013, is the introduction of a Mastectomy Boutique, with a full line of forms, bras and scarves. Rachel has lived in Blenheim for 6 years with her husband Steve and their son Harrison.

Alvilda Douglas

Audiologist

Alvilda completed her Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Linguistics and a concentration in Mathematics at the University of Ottawa. She then obtained her Master of Science degree in Audiology from the University of British Columbia. She is a registered audiologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is certified with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). She has over 15 years experience as an audiologist working with adults and children. She takes a client-centered approach to ensure clients understand all available options and rehabilitation plans are individualized to their needs. Alvilda provides audiological services at Elgin Audiology's Blenheim, St. Thomas and West Lorne locations.

Jennifer Johns

MSW, RSW - Counsellor/Registered Social Worker

Jennifer Johns is a Counsellor and Registered Social Worker (RSW) who has a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Windsor (1993) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Dalhousie University (2005). She has been registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) since 2002. She is also a Member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Jennifer has experience working in child welfare, community development, the government and educational sectors. She has supervised Bachelor and Master level social work students through the University of Windsor. She utilizes various approaches to counselling including brief solution focused, narrative, strengths-based, anti-oppressive and cognitive behavioural therapies. She has extensive background in providing services to address trauma, disabilities, and mental health. Jennifer provides individual counselling services to adolescents and adults for anxiety, depression, trauma, critical incident debriefing, stress management, parent guidance/support, ADHD support, and general counselling to help with life’s challenges. Heidi Feasey

Reflexologist

Heidi was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. She competed competitively in track & field, swimming and figure skating, one year even earning the title of Female Athlete of the Year. Heidi was an Ophthalmic Assistant for 2 of Canada’s leading Ophthalmologists in Laser Refractive Surgery. Heidi moved from Windsor to Chatham with her husband & dog in 2000 to start their own business, which she still helps out with when needed. Heidi became a member and a student of the Ontario College of Reflexology (OCR) in 2005 and has happily volunteered her Reflexology services since that time. She became a Certified Reflexologist in 2018, specializing in Foot Reflexology and is continuing her studies in Hand Reflexology. Heidi also has her Level 1 Usui Reiki. Heidi has always believed her purpose in life is to help others. Compassion and continuous learning give many benefits to her clients. Her sessions are based on the specific health conditions of her clients such as release of tension, improved circulation, headaches/migraines, anxiety, stress, fatigue, back aches, shoulder pain, sciatica, arthritis, premenstrual symptoms, preventative care and maintenance. Michele graduated St. Clair College with a Business Degree in Accounting along with a Human Resource Certificate. In the past she worked with the people on a retail level and now finds working on a health care level extremely rewarding. She feels a real sense of pride knowing all the patients at the clinic receive the highest level of personal care available.

Tammy Moore

Tammy was born and raised in Chatham, but has recently moved to the Blenheim area and is enjoying the quiet small town/country life. Tammy graduated from St. Clair College with academic distinction in the medical office admin program. Most recently, she has joined the Talbot Trail Physiotherapy family and is very excited to be part of this amazing team. She is an outgoing people person who knows that working the front desk for Talbot Trail Physiotherapy will be a great experience to meet and interact with many new people from all walks of life. Most of Tammy’s free time is spent with her children and grandchildren. She also likes to get some time in at the gym, swimming, and the more quiet times crocheting or reading.
